Media kit

The Smart TV audience, counted by our own ad server.

Who sees ads on SofAds, where and when they watch, and what you can show them. The numbers are published automatically every day from our ad server, rounded, with test traffic left out.

Audience numbers will appear here.

SofAds has no live traffic yet, so this page has no audience numbers. We would rather leave it empty than show zeros or estimates. Once apps are live, our ad server publishes the numbers here every day, and the downloadable PDF media kit appears with them:

  • Reach: monthly and daily active devices, sessions and hours of use.
  • Where: reach per country, platform, TV brand and app category.
  • When: a prime-time profile, activity per hour of the week.
  • Ad performance: impressions, fill rate, video completion rate, QR scans and scan rate.

Formats.

Full-screen video
Your MP4 or VAST tag at 1920×1080 in the natural break between levels. Skippable after the countdown you set, following Google's skippable-ads rules, with impressions, quartiles and completion reported.
QR card
A full-screen card with your image, headline and a QR code of at least 300×300 pixels. The viewer scans with their phone and lands on your page; every scan is counted.
Rewarded video and rewarded scan
The viewer chooses to watch to the end, or to scan the code, in return for something in the app. The reward is set by the app, so your creative never has to promise one.
HTML interstitial
A full-screen HTML creative for anything that is not video, rendered inside the TV-safe area.

Pricing is per scan for QR campaigns or per thousand impressions, in US dollars. More on buying and targeting: advertising on SofAds, and the guide to QR code ads on TV.

How we count.

  • Devices, not people. A device is one TV with a SofAds app, counted by its advertising ID or the app's install ID. One household can be one device or several.
  • From our own ad server. Every number is aggregated from the events our ad server records, once a day, over the last 30 complete days.
  • Rounded, with small groups folded into "Other". No single app, publisher or small market can be picked out.
  • Test traffic excluded. Test ads shown to apps that are not live yet, and to registered test devices, are never counted.
  • Rates. Fill rate is impressions per ad request; completion rate is video ads watched to the end per video impression; scan rate is QR scans per QR ad shown.
